Iron Works Orchard
As a graphic designer and a lover of all things creative, it only made sense for me to create a custom logo and labels for the delicious varieties of cider we brew at home.
I focused on what we are brewing: a fruity cider and the place the cider was brewed: Sheffield.
Sheffield is celebrated as the Outdoor city, with the highest percentage of green space than any other city in the world, making it a beautiful place with more trees than people. The city is also home to the Peak District National Park, occupying 1/3 of the city.
Sheffield is historically known as the Steel city, its hills generated coal and iron for the steel industry. With seven rivers, Sheffield had access to water power, and the forests provided wood and charcoal. It is the birthplace of stainless steel, invented in the year 1912.
With a strong emphasis on Sheffield's Steel City history, the outdoor city's greenery, and the essential basis of our cider-fruit, I created a logo and labels. Additionally, the colour palette was nature-inspired, representing the greenery and base ingredients of the cider.
